welcome to the master plan

Hello, friends!

Basically, I've decided to lock up my RPS. I struggled with this decision for a long time, because I know that I get annoyed by locked fic too. But what it comes down to is this: I write fanfic for fun, and if I'm not comfortable posting it openly anymore, it's not gonna be fun and most likely not happen at all. I want to make clear that nothing specific has happened to prompt this decision. It's something I've been thinking about for a while, and finally I just decided to do it.

But never fear! All you have to do to get to the fic is go to my new journal, edged_glass, and comment on the first post to be added. I've transferred everything already. The only thing I didn't repost was my Labyrinth AU, as that's not finished and I really shouldn't have started posting it anyway until it was done. It'll be back.

Alternately, you can view most of my fic at http://archiveofourown.org/ under the name Sulwen. I would prefer to lock this down also, but unless they ever get out of beta and enable open membership, I just don't feel right doing that.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but hopefully this will work out better for everyone - all my fic will be in one place, and this journal will go back to being about random other things. Much better than mixing the two.

So I know that there are a lot of you who had me friended before I started posting almost exclusively about Adam Lambert, and I just want you to know that you're quite welcome to defriend if you want. You're not going to offend me or anything - I understand! :)

And to those of you who are newer friends and are waiting for fic...something new should be up tonight, if my muse cooperates. <3

They just don't get it, do they?

Look, I'm not going to flip the fuck out if my stuff ends up cross-posted. I have no shame and nothing to hide. But I just don't understand WHY you would do it. I mean...seriously. Why?

So my stuff will remain unlocked. But I really do hope that LJ gets smart and gives us an opt-out for posts we make. Because that really would be the clever thing to do.

Also, hi pretty Jareth in my icon! You should clearly meet Adam at some point. <3

First of all, apparently Tommy's dad is really sick, so no Tommy at tonight's show as he's going home to be with him. I hope it isn't too serious, poor guy.

Saw Inception again, and it was again awesome. Picked up on a lot of things that I didn't the first time. That's something I love so much about Nolan films - each experience of watching them feels different.

New LJ theme. I really wanted something more colorful, but this was the only one that jumped out at me, and of course, it's not colorful at all. Oh well!

Finally bought Adam's CD like a good fan. Got the Euro version that includes Master Plan, DtRH, Voodoo, and Can't Let You Go. And I have NO IDEA why all these songs weren't on the American release...particularly Master Plan, which I think could have been an excellent single.

And now something amusing - we have a new member of the pantheon! Along with Lady Godga and Adam "Gay Messiah" Lambert, please welcome Jesus Gordon-Levitt! I read that on ONTD and lost it, but seriously, dude was badass in Inception. I feel like his career is ready to absolutely take off. Hope he can capitalize!

OMG, thank you LJ Spotlight for leading me to ontd_tennis! This is AMAZING and gives me much hope for the future of my one lonely little sports fandom!

I defriended her. It sucks because I really do like her fic, but in the past few days it's become very clear that if she wasn't in the wrong during the situation in question, she sure as hell is now in her seriously off-putting response.

Although...perhaps some personal good has come of the situation for me. There's a specific event in my past that I have always, always, always blamed myself for. And maybe that was wrong. I can't absolve myself of all blame, but reading some of the entries that have come about during this whole ordeal makes me think that perhaps it wasn't entirely my fault.

And now I am REALLY ready to go back to being excited for the finale. SPN is way more fun than real life.
