So I decided to make a reclist of Adam/Tommy fic, because there’s a lot of it, and I know how hard it can be to find the good stuff when you’re new to a fandom. A couple notes before I start:
- I had to limit myself to a few stories for each author, but I strongly recommend checking out the rest of their works as well!
- I did not list content notes or warnings here. Please make sure to pay attention to them after clicking a link.
- Most of these are my personal favorites, and obviously those are just due to personal preference. However, there are also one or two fics on the list that I actually haven’t read (yet!) but felt compelled to include due to how well-known they are within the fandom.
- There’s no real order here. If it’s on the list, I recommend it!
- There are so many more great stories than what I could include here. Please, if you have a favorite that isn’t listed, link it in the comments!

Jun. 7th, 2011 03:18 amI keep making posts about the things that are annoying me and then making them private because I sound like such a horrible bitch. I'M JUST REALLY ANNOYED WITH THE WORLD RIGHT NOW, OK?
^^would be better as a tweet, but I'm still scorning Twitter, as it's one of the things annoying me
ETA: It's so weird and difficult not being on Twitter. I didn't realize how addicted I was until I tried to stop. I keep refreshing Gmail and LJ and Tumblr over and over and over to try to make up for it, haha.
On the other hand, I get the distinct sense that I've already saved myself having to witness unpleasantness. For which I say, good call, self.

Mar. 26th, 2011 01:47 amThis new story is possessing my mind like nothing has since my LBB, back in the days when I was first starting to think about it. I love this feeling. It's like there are whole universes spinning in my head, rooted in the detritus of my life and branching out into big glorious ideas that I will never properly be able translate to the page, not in the perfect pristine way they appear in my head.
The story has a soundtrack and everything. I'm listening to the songs now, and god, it just makes me feel alive. These are the times, rare and precious, when I really do feel like this is what I was meant to be doing, when there's fire in my blood and I am actually unable to do anything but serve the story.

"Guilty Pleasures" - a pop playlist
Mar. 17th, 2011 09:07 pmBeen wanting to do this for a while, and finally got a day off to put it together. Be warned: I have a strong and possibly childish love for blatant sexual innuendo. That's what got a lot of these songs here. Also, this might be a Ke$ha playlist in disguise. Oops.
There are a few notable artists that I've left out of the list simply because when I listen to them, I listen to the whole album. Gaga is the main one.
They're in alphabetical order by first name at the moment, because I will probably mix the order six thousand times before I actually find something I like enough to stick with.

So many books, so little time

My husband and I own a lot of books. A LOT. We've spent every Christmas since we've been together asking for bookstore gift cards. This has resulted in more books that I can possibly keep up with, especially considering how much of my reading has actually been fanfiction over the past two or three years. It's time to work through some of the list.
These are all books we own that I have not read and want to read. They are in no particular order.
