I can't believe how little I post to this journal these days! Fic journal + twitter + tumblr basically killed the need for a personal journal, I guess. But I've had this journal for too long to get rid of it, so here we go, a post.
Stealing from basically my entire flist, lol:
Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.

Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot sometimes.

I did include anime, but only if we have a box set, not just a single DVD with a couple episodes. Also, this is our joint collection, so some of it I haven't even seen.

Crossover Crack Meme!

2. Write a fic of fifteen words or less for every prompt, using the characters determined by the numbers. Do NOT read the prompts before you do step 1.
Doing two characters per fandom, but not next to each other. We'll see how it goes. Also, I'm totally ignoring the wordcount and just making them as small as possible.

Short, multifandom songfics

2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it’s over. No lingering afterwards!
4. Do ten of these, then post them.
I’m doing this meme again, because I really enjoyed it the first time and I think I got some neat drabbles out of it. I’m not planning to do any specific pairing or fandom, but we’ll see what happens. These are totally unedited for everything except typos, so expect them to be a bit rougher than my usual work.
ALSO: I’m not really keeping to the time limit. I just want to be writing, and if I’ve got a good thing going, I’m not going to stop myself.
ALSO: I only did five, because it was late and I needed sleep.
Author’s notes for all the pieces follow at the end.
WARNINGS: (Lightly) implied incest, (lightly) implied underage, absolutely no pr0n, unedited writing, a bad joke, wordiness, AU, (non-explicit) prostitution, crazy angel theories that even I don’t understand, implied death, songs from musicals, and a mention of Glenn Beck.

The music meme...
Mar. 19th, 2009 03:18 am...because I have to do something while my hand takes a break from Rock Band 2.
Put your music player on shuffle. Write down the first lines of the first fifty songs. Make your flist guess them. Please don't Google songs (well, please don't Google songs and then post the title as if you'd guessed it--you can Google and keep the information to yourself).
Excluded are songs with no lyrics, songs where the first line is the title, songs in other languages, and anything that I don't have a title or artist for. Also, I totally did the first two lines for some of them.
This actually did a second good thing - it forced me to get all my audio files organized in one place. They were scattered all over the place, even across two seperate hard drives. So it's nice to have it all together again. Took forever, though.
