Podficcing, all through the night...

Well, I've got 6 out of 10 sections recorded for the novel-length podfic I'm doing. It's long, but I absolutely love the material and it's been really fun to do. I read two whole sections tonight, and my throat hurts pretty bad, but it was just getting to the smexing and I couldn't resist! And man, I really enjoyed recording the porny parts. You might think it would be embarrassing, but no. It was quite enjoyable. Though for me, anything at all that involves Jensen and blowjobs is going to be quite enjoyable. In all seriousness, though, it really was fun and I would love to do more of it, if this one gets decent feedback. I haven't listened to the part with the sex scenes yet, so I suppose we'll see.

This has to be one of the strangest things I've ever done, no question. I mean, a fairly small minority of people even know what fandom is, and a fairly small minority of people within fandom even know what podfic is, and a fairly small minority of those people actually record it themselves. That has to be a relatively small number.

Did you do sound effects? Was there foley involved?

Random, but check this out. It's such a stalker song but I wouldn't mind him as a stalker. This too, it's fucking hilarious and fun to listen to while getting ready to go out.
