Yay Supernatural! I actually don't have much to say about tonight's episode, besides the fact that our boys look completely amazing in black and white! I mean, even prettier than usual. Especially Jensen. The lack of color makes you really appreciate the shape and lines in his face. I swear, that boy really must have been sent from heaven! I love the light, funny episodes of Supernatural, and I definitely enjoyed this one as well.
Also: I've been getting really into podfic lately, and I thought I might try it out. This is a test recording just to see if I could get the technical side to work at all. I read a really short Labyrinth drabble that I wrote a while back as my test text. I used my mp3 player to do the recording, then uploaded the file to soundupload.com. It's a .wav file, which I know is not the best, but that's what I can do for now. Plus, I've never recorded anything before, so the quality might be crap. But it worked, and if you'd like to give it a listen, here it is. I really enjoy reading aloud, so I'm probably going to play around some more with this.
ETA: Ok, this is fun. I may have recorded a few more of my pieces... *is quite possibly totally obsessed now* I found a way to convert the files to the mp3 format, and I switched to a different hosting site that I like better. So everything's download-only now.
Labyrinth drabble
And Beyond - PotC, Elizabeth/Barbossa, Elizabeth/Jack
The Right Words - Tennis, Roger/Rafa

Date: 2008-10-22 04:21 am (UTC)I'm totally for having these - and any future projects - in the archive, but as these stories were my very first tries, I'd like to clean them up some before that happens. I've learned quite a lot about audio editing just in the last few days, and I'd like my work to be somewhat consistent in quality. Is it ok if I message you when I'm done with them?
