I had to edit the version I posted for the challenge because it was too long, so this is the full version. This is my first fic in this fandom (and my first fic for ANY anime), so please excuse any newbie mistakes you may see!

Good GOD. Death Note is rapidly moving up in the list of Slashiest Things Ever. Seriously, what else could you take from this situation? They handcuff their two gorgeous main characters together, SKIP TWO ENTIRE MONTHS, and when we next see them, they're STILL handcuffed. Combine that with all the building tension throughout the first half of the series, and you KNOW something went down during those two months. That, my friends, is what we call blatant fanservice.
