sulwenSo Star Trek was AWESOME as FUCK. I seriously had a stupid grin on my face through the entire movie. The characters! My boys! They're still them! And that's all I really wanted.
Beyond that, though, it was just an all-around great movie. Paced well, nice tight story, good writing, beautiful effects, exciting action sequences, all that good stuff.
AND SLASH LIKE WHOA. Which I was certainly hoping they'd retain from the original serious, so I'm very glad for that. I'm so happy that there will finally be brand-new Kirk/Spock fic! Yay yay yay!
I really, really want more movies in this franchise. GO SEE THIS MOVIE, PEOPLE. GIVE IT YOUR MONEY SO THEY WILL MAKE MANY MORE.
I haven't seen tonight's SPN yet, as we were already on our way to the theatre. I hear it's heartwrenching. We shall see as soon as it's downloaded.
