This novel is actually a few related stories. The first two take up most of the book, and they're both awesome. The last few shorter ones aren't nearly as good, and for those I take away one point. But still quite a good read, and one I've been meaning to get to for a very, very long time.

I found a book today called Male-Male Intimacy in Early America (William Beneman). I was shelf reading and came across it, naturally I had to pick it up. There's even a section about Europe, where they mention Paris. :D This might turn out very boring, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
