Um, Show is awesome. They are wowing me every fucking episode this season. Ok, almost every episode. BUT THIS ONE WAS WOW-WORTHY.
Show is making me too emotional to make long review posts lately. Mostly I was in love with it.
RE: THAT ONE ENDING SCENE I KNOW EVERYONE IS REFUSING TO ACKNOWLEDGE - I actually thought it was rather true to form for Dean to seek out the closest thing he has to a "normal" family, although it's kind of Edward Cullen-ish to find her at her new house without knowing the address or phone number or anything. I think that life, the one with Lisa and Ben and the white picket fence, is what Dean THINKS he wants. I think it's the kind of idealized fantasy most of us have hidden away somewhere. And I think that it's too painful right now for Dean to even process anything related to Sam whatsoever. Thus the trip. But I will never, ever believe that Dean Winchester will find happiness in that kind of life, even if that's how they decide to end it. Anyone read Dark Tower? It's like how Roland is forever fated to keep seeking the Tower. Dean is fated to spend his days roaming the highways of the world. Nothing can convince me otherwise.
UM, WHAT ELSE?
CASTIEL IS FUCKING FUNNY.
SAM AND CASTIEL SHOULD INTERACT MORE.
PREACHER GUY WAS KIND OF AWESOME.
DEAN IS NOT HELPING HIS SEXIST REP WITH THOSE "ON A GOOD DAY YOU GET TO KILL A WHORE" COMMENTS.
SAM'S SAD DESPERATE TEARY FACE ABOUT KILLED ME WHEN DEAN DROVE AWAY. I LITERALLY SQUEALED AT MY TV.
Oh, and have you guys watched the three clips from next week? I cried. Not even kidding. Tears streamed down my face. At the PREVIEW CLIPS. *is going to need a security blanket and probably a tub of ice cream to make it through next week*
And now have everyone's favorite flirty boys to make us all feel good again:
