Book List - 2010
Jan. 8th, 2010 12:02 amI'm not attempting the fifty book challenge this year. Instead, I'm just going to read, and keep a list, and see where it takes me.
1 - Naamah's Kiss by Jacqueline Carey 5/5
I love Carey and it was fantastic to see her return to form with this novel, the first of a new trilogy. I think she does much better with female protagonists, so that was nice to see here. Moirin is a lovely character and a worthy successor to Phedre. And oh yes, there's sex. Lots and lots. It's not as dark and violent and kinky as it was in the first trilogy, which is a bit sad, but there's much more f/f action, and I do appreciate that when it's done well. I'm very excited to read more!
