Just when I thought I was done finding new kinks...

So. I have no idea how I've managed to reach age 23 without seeing The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It's so totally me. I love musicals, I love "bad" movies, I love subversive media, and I love fucking with gender and sexuality. AND I love Tim Curry! Somehow, though, I just never sat down and watched it. Today, we were at Best Buy to pick up the new Green Day album, and I saw RHPS for five bucks. And honestly, I'll pay five bucks for just about anything.

I literally just watched the movie twice in a row, and I'm probably about to go back for a third viewing. It's perfect. It's everything Repo! wants to be and isn't.*

Also, I've never really had much of a thing for transsexuals before. No problem with it, definitely, but it wasn't a kink. Now? Oh, Tim Curry...job well done, sir. Not to sound like a fandom secret, but...I'd hit that SO FUCKING HARD.

Who wants to find a midnight showing somewhere and go with me? It'll be fun!


*Not that I don't love Repo! I do. I just...I love it more for what it should have been than what it actually is. In my head, it's a masterwork. On film...not so much.


ETA: Also, since evidently nothing in my life has meaning unless there's fic of it...does anyone know if fic for this movie exists? My LJ-fu is failing me here.
