Mad props to Rachel Maddow for her interview tonight with Richard Cohen. She's such an amazing interviewer - she's hard hitting, always going after the tough questions that people try to avoid, but she doesn't yell or harass either.

Also, I love that at one point she called him "dude."

Tonight's interview made me horribly depressed - the "kill the gays" legislation in Uganda is heart wrenching - but it also gave me hope, because with amazing, intelligent, passionate people like Rachel fighting on our side, we'll get there eventually.

I hope that when my kids grow up, they'll live in a world where they can make their own decisions about love without having to be afraid of the consequences.
