WHAT?

Wait a minute. The Doctor was willing to sacrifice twenty million people to save the world and everyone's fine with it, but Jack giving up twelve kids to save the rest of the world's children is a horrible act that must be punished by killing everyone he loves?

WTF. That's just not FAIR.

Also, baah...

Ha. I hadn't thought of it like that. They have this excuse about fixed points in time and things that had to happen, and presumably they would say that Jack's kids wasn't one of those - but how, not being the Doctor, he would have known that is a bit of a mystery. And karmically/narratively, yeah, wtf. (Considering... things I'm not going to tell you about the most recent Dr Who special if you haven't seen it yet. But there's an interesting thing going on there!)

I like kids and all but they could've all DIAF for some more Jack/Ianto in the series. You can always make more kids, JUST SAYIN'.
