SPN 4x18

So yeah - BEST OPENING EVER. That first segment had me flailing like a flaily thing. I CANNOT EVEN BELIEVE they mentioned us in an episode!

Wincest!

WOOT!

So, biggest mention of fandom ever, y/y?

The rest of the episode really pales in my mind compared to that scene, but a couple things that stuck out as being awesome:

- Poking fun at the "bad" episodes (I actually liked Bugs), low ratings, and cult following. I LOVE YOU, KRIPKE. NEVER STOP THE META!

- Dean "full-frontal."

- Lots and lots of Sam&Dean time.

- Sam only developing his powers to protect Dean! YAY SAMMY!

- Dean refusing to leave unless Sam came with him! YAY DEAN! (Actually, this was seriously going to piss me off if it didn't happen - Dean would NEVER leave Sam in danger.)

- Castiel being awesome and helping Dean without really helping him!

- Lilith: "It'll take more than a kiss to close a deal with me." BWAHAHA! I love it!

- This ep had the nice balance between seriousness and silliness that the very best SPN episodes have. I put it right up there with the best ones, though I really think "Mystery Spot" will always be my favorite.

- I really, really hope that Lucifer ends up being freed and that he's awesome. Boys vs. Lucifer sounds like a fun season five to me!

- Next week...hey, bring it on. Could be interesting. I'd like to bring back some of the family dynamics we've not been hearing about so much lately.



You know, there are certain people that I'm just going to have to cut off my flist. If you dislike every episode so goddamned much, WHY ARE YOU STILL WATCHING? STOP HARSHING MY SQUEE!

That opening wins at life, so much fandom/nerd speak!! I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life.

That coda was hilarious. "No whiskey for you". XD

I don't see what there isn't to like about this season. I see lots of wank over on fandomsecrets about how they're only watching it because of X (usually Castiel). CRY MOAR! *sits back and enjoys show*

And is that next week? My guide says they're rerunning "After School Special" next week.

This girl always finds something to bitch about. This week, she was all - TOO MUCH META, THEY WENT OVER THE LINE, *WHINEBITCHWHINE*. And you know what? I don't care how many fucking friends she's got. I'm not going to be one of them, because I'm a little less happy after reading her post. Screw that.
