Quick SPN 4x09 thoughts

I loved Ana from the first moment I laid eyes on her. She's the kind of female character I can get behind, because she's not trying so damn hard. She's just being who she is. Also, damaged. I love damaged characters.

Yay male crossroads demon! I read about this before I watched the episode, so I wasn't surprised - but man, I was still squeeing. I completely agree with those who are saying Sam's canon bi. That pretty much proves it in my book.

I was SO HAPPY to get some flashbacks. I'd almost forgotten about that missing time, and it was awesome to see it.

I still hold that Sam/Ruby is tantamount to necrophelia, as she even mentioned the body "rotting away" when she left it. Do I care? Not really.

Jared is fucking ripped, and I'm all for it. Dude. I watch wrestling. I like megamuscles. I want to get my hands all over that body of his. Plus, manhandling. YUM.

I thought Dean's reaction to everything was pitch-perfect. He wouldn't throw a shitfit over Sam and Ruby, I think, not in that situation. I'm sure Dean's fucked some scum too. Plus, I think he's madder than he looks - see my thoughts below on next week's episode.

Sam and Dean patching themselves and each other up was SO AMAZINGLY PERFECT. I LOVED THAT SCENE SO, SO MUCH.

NEXT WEEK: I'm super excited for 4x10. I seriously think that, while Dean/Ana makes sense from a "we're both damaged, let's comfort each other!" point of view, I really think Dean's going to fuck her just to get back at Sam for fucking Ruby, whether he realizes that's what he's doing or not. Plus, I'm always for Jensen getting naked. Let's get explicit, people! *wishes the show were on HBO* Pamela coming back is AWESOME. I loved her dearly in the first episode of this season, so that's really happy news. I hope she's not coming back just to die. Castiel showing off his powers should be SWEET - I want him to go all badass. And I really like this little group they've got going - Sam, Dean, Pamela, Ruby, and Ana. I love, love, love Sam and Dean, and I'm never going to say no to more of the boys alone...but I also have a thing for group dynamics (something that I think has roots in my love for classic fantasy), and I'm really looking forward to seeing them all try to work together. I hope it fucking rocks.



On a side note...WHAT'S THIS FUCKING HIATUS BUSINESS? I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A HIATUS! HOW LONG IS IT? WHY DOES IT EXIST? WHAT WILL I DO WITH MYSELF UNTIL MY SHOW COMES BACK ON? I NEED ANSWERS!
