If they wouldn't vote for Hilary Clinton, who is a much better-known female politician, why would he think they'd vote for this other woman? Her name escapes me at the moment.
It's just as bad as all the people voting for Obama because they're the same race; or those people who voted for Bush (both times! *and* for Senior!) because of their religion. What the hell does that have to do with the *issues*?
And you KNOW that's the reason he picked a woman. The dumb ones who don't know anything aside from "oh I should vote for my own gender" will go for that vote. Or "oh he must not be so bad if he puts a woman on his ballot". Bullshit. I think it's a total ploy. No vote for you, McCain. Just because she has a vagina doesn't mean I'm dumb enough to fall for it.
I found another article that talks about her firing a librarian because she doesn't believe in banning books. The librarian did get her job back from the sheer amount of support in the community, but left the job sometime later.
